Pet Policy for New Smyrna Stays

1. Pet-Friendly Units:

  • Pets are only allowed in units that are specifically designated as “PET FRIENDLY.” These units have been prepared to accommodate both human and pet guests.

2. Pet Restrictions:

  • For the well-being and consideration of all guests, pets are subject to certain restrictions, regardless of the owner’s allowance.
  • The following pet restrictions apply to all pet-friendly units:
    • Guests are limited to a maximum of two (2) pets per unit.
    • Pets must be well-behaved and under the control of their owners at all times.
    • Pets should not disturb other guests with excessive noise or aggressive behavior.
    • Pets are not allowed in common areas, including the lobby, swimming pool, fitness center, and any other shared facilities unless explicitly permitted.
    • All pets must be properly supervised when outside, and they must be kept on a leash or in an appropriate carrier when in common areas.

3. Pet Fees:

  • A non-refundable pet fee will be applied to your reservation if you plan to bring pets. This fee helps cover additional cleaning and maintenance costs associated with pet-friendly units.
  • The exact pet fee amount will be outlined in your reservation details.

4. Damages and Cleaning:

  • Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their pets during their stay.
  • An additional cleaning fee may be charged if excessive pet hair or other pet-related messes are left behind in the unit.

5. Reporting Pet Incidents:

  • In the event of any pet-related incidents or issues, please notify on-site management and/or New Smyrna Stays immediately.

6. Right to Deny Entry:

  • New Smyrna Stays reserves the right to deny entry or request the removal of any pet that is deemed a threat to the safety, well-being, or comfort of our guests or staff.

7. Liability:

  • Guests are responsible for any injuries or damages caused by their pets while staying at New Smyrna Stays.
  • Guests are encouraged to carry their own liability insurance covering their pets.

By booking a stay at New Smyrna Stays in a pet-friendly unit, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this pet policy.
